The longer you sit
The longer your head spins
The longer it takes
Then the shorter it feels 

The wider the smile
The more that you mean it 
When the truth is 

it was never real

I want to hurt you back. 
Insecurity has put me
On the attack. 
I never wanted you to fall into my trap. 
But it looks like I’m the bigger loser.

I try to forget what I heard.
