When I go to school, I feel like I'm going to another planet. A planet of learning and safety. The teachers are kind aliens and the students are like you. Humans who need to learn. But sometimes the teachers forget to not use teacher language. Well, one time in 4th grade my teacher forgot to speak kid for a day. So that day I go home from school and my mom says, “What did you learn today?” I pause to think, then reply, “I don’t have the foggiest idea.”

Misty morning
Sailing on the open sea early in the morning.
The mist surrounds me.
The wind is howling just like a wolf wood at the moon.
I fell free, gliding across the cobalt blue ocean staring at the sky -

Flapping,
Fluttering,
Flying through the air,
The warm breeze flowing through my feathers,
The sweet smell of nectar fills the air,
I swoop down to the flowers,
I see buds on the trees, -
Maple Syrup
Maple Syrup
Sugary water,
dripping,
dripping,
Slowly filling up the buckets,
Maple boiling,
Until at last,
Sugar,
Slow moving,
delicious,
dropping onto your pancakes,
