Carl was a weird child. Carl was different from the other children. He didn't like to go play outside, draw or play games with other children. He was strange, but that is what he wanted. He did not want to be just another face in the crowd. He wanted to be more, better. He wanted to be known. Carl spent every minute of his life trying to think of something exciting. He always did the opposite of the other kids, especially Cynthia. She was perfectly normal. If she did her homework he did not, If she ate healthy he would not. As he got older he was more and more excluded and weird. He was lonely but he was not unhappy. People thought he was weird and that's what he wanted. He was very smart but did bad in school (the other kids tried so he did not). People started thinking he was less weird and more interesting. No one knew him so some people started talking to him. He did not expect this with his weird behavior. He couldn't just ignore people so he talked to them.
