That only few receive,
And those who don’t heavily grieve,
A trophy that creates jealousy,
And can make swoon all they see,
So if you have it, don’t be deceived,
Beauty is a gentile trophy.

Pressing the keys to make it appear on the page.

Lilac
Colors blend
Soft pink
Scarlett,
Fades
Blood orange,
Mixes with the white
From across the pallet.
Yellow,
Petals for a sunflower,
The light in an abandoned nursery,
A blank canvas,
Not a scratch to see,
Not even white
Just
Nothingness.
