An Art Piece

A blank canvas,

Not a scratch to see,

Not even white

Just

Nothingness.

But then

One day

A woman passed by

The canvas,

And took the tools from her bag.

She sketched,

Mountains and trenches.

She watercolored the sky,

Leaving white space,

For clouds.

She painted the ocean,

Her brush strokes, making waves.

She colored the grass a vibrant green,

So crisp and clean,

You wouldn’t want to even touch it,

Afraid you would ruin the perfection.

She shaded in ice,

Each pencil line

A sharp edge.

It was no longer a blank canvas.

As she packed up her tools,

She wrote on the back of the canvas the title of her her piece,

Earth.

The ideas flows through my hands,

Pressing the keys to make it appear on the page.

    Despite its small appearance,

    You can still see it.

    The corner of your eye,

    Controls your brain.

    It works it.
