The Naiad's Song

In the evening, on a rainy day,
The willow trees weep.
Underneath the willows, dryads stay.
They are peaceful as they sleep.

Wind pushes the willows as rain-
gently hits the ground, naiads sing.
Their voices; a peaceful sound.
The Dryad’s hear their alluring melody.

The once slumbering, Dryads listen,
As the rain softens, the naiads hum.
The willows no longer weep, as the-
rain slowly disappears, and glistens-
off of the dim light, as the air numbs.
