The world is going to end tomorrow

The world is going to end tomorrow,
whether by a big, red button
or a piece of chopped mutton.
But fear not! Do not sorrow,
for either we will be dead by then
or it will come around the bend.

The world is going to end tomorrow,
whether by you, me, or a long lost man.
We’ll all be together like a cheery band.
And let us remember, our time is borrowed.
Now let me check my doomsday watch,
oh man, it’s coming out onto the block!

The world is going to end tomorrow,
whether by burning our wood
or by burning the woods.
We will see Him this coming morrow,
there is no reason that we should sorrow,
He will always come the morrow.

“The world is going to end tomorrow”

    Witnessed beauty

We're blessed to be able to witness beauty:
the drops of sunshine flickering off the trees,
the scent of nature floating in the breeze,
the songs of birds whistling around me.

Not too long ago, I was blessed by the sun –

    Lost Waves in the Ocean

    Today I call out,
    from a cloud.
    A sea of voices,
    A sea of choices,
    A sea of loud.

    I hear one of these
    fragile voices,
    a small wave
    on the ocean.
    I hear her scream
    out.
    Out into the wide
    open.

    Sinning Still

Forgive me, for I have sinned.
For I sat and only watched the
         passing wind.
For on this day, I only
lie still, I watch and do nothing
    to change the
         passing wind.
