What makes you curious? What inspires you? You might want to submit writing or art that you've quietly been working on for awhile and you're finally ready to share. You might find a prompt in YWP's Weekly Challenges that sparks your interest. Or you might be moved by springtime renewal and discovery. This is a "spring contest," but don't feel limited to the season. Anything goes!

CONTEST DETAILS:

• Awards: Gold ($100), Silver ($75), and Bronze ($50) in each of two categories – Writing and Visual Art
• For ages 12-18. You must have a YWP account. (It’s free to join, and this contest is also free!)
• Respond to the challenges in any writing genre or artistic medium
• Must be your original work, not published elsewhere – and not AI!
• No limit to number of submissions in both categories
• Deadline: April 15, 2024

• Prize winners and honorable mentions will be published in the May issue of our digital magazine, The Voice.
