The world is so afraid 

Of a smart girl speaking loud

So they decide

She must never have power

I am sorry

I had to lose you 

To find myself

She thinks she's worthless,

I think she's everything the world has to offer.

On the day I said goodbye,

my heart could not accept it,

how I would never see them again.

So the tears did not flow, 

until I realized,

I had changed,

and they were not there to see it.
