I carry my stress in my mouth.

I've got a burnt tongue
and yesterday I bit my cheek
and I'm afraid my wisdom teeth might be coming in
and my jaw is sore from clenching it

When rage consumes me,
I am all limbs, all angles.
I am a pair of boxing gloves,
and I punch and punch and punch.

When rage consumes me,
I am sharp words.
I am the bitch that stole your boyfriend.

before i go to sleep
i email myself a number.
there is something calming
about it being the most recent email i've recieved.
a bookmark for today.

Have you ever liked someone too much to write poetry about?
I cannot construct a stanza because I want to just state facts:
she speaks swedish and french and english
she turns her camera on in zoom classes even when nobody else does

today i went on a not-a-date with a girl and
AAAAAA
      AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
                                      AAAAAAAAAAA

i didn't eat lunch again today
my brain is ready to fall out of my head
and into my stomach.
how hypocritical to be worrying about the boy who says
he's not hungry at lunch time.
