I feel like everywhere I look now,
police are the bad guys.
Why?
That's us blaming again.
Have you ever noticed how much,
humans love to blame each other.
We never find the answer when we're blaming,

I feel at peace sitting in our treehouse,
With the trees bumping together softly.
Listening to the crickets chirp,
and the blackbirds sing softly to each other.
I like to watch the cattails blow in the wind,

The events have changed.
Suddenly, 
Covid-19 isn't the "breaking news".
I guess that's good,
since I don't have to listen to every news channel drone on about death rates.
But now,
there talking about George Floyd.

We're all human here.

Not, animals.
This isn't the Hunger Games either.
So why are people showing hate and anger?
Maybe it was a mistake,
I want to believe it was.
But the news begs to differ.
