breathing,
thinking,
seeing.
count your blessings,

your serrated sarcasm,

I wish to see my world flourish around me.
the silent life within us 
come forth for a better future

when I am twenty five

I wish to be seen 

two kids 
one dropped penny
in a large grocery store full of tired parents and screaming babies

two kids
both so different 
in place so normal it was insane

but then again not
for those two kids
