are left to dangle

how do you go on so carelessly?
The rocks stand stationary, as if
someone's condemned them to -

washes all away
What is not a silent force
becomes louder the more it cries
An inland in the center
it sits lonely in the road -

An island hurls its mossy peaks to green heaven
Noble cliffs over sculpted water
Great monoliths you can sit on
and so many pebblew cluster round -

Winter has just melted away
into a cool spring.
A cool brook
certainly too cool
to wade in ~ stands amidst it all.
The brook makes a pleasant sight
for weary eyes
