there is a you-spaced hole in my heart,
where you used to fit.

like a piece of glass in my hand,
you were cutting me
so i dropped you to the ground.

with a clink you were no longer my problem

once again i am greeted by the familiar mist
bone chilling as you are,
you never fail to excite me.

though i cannot truly see you, 
i trust you to guide me.

 

this summer i am re-inventing myself
i am manifesting a new me
my old skin will shed,
and a new face shall take its place.

 

"try".

whenever i ask for help,
what to do, 
you say 'try'.

in vain.

such vanity provokes me.

how shall i, a child,
unfit to vote,
not allowed to have a say in anything

He paused for a few moments,
and then took my hand in his
eyes clouded with hazy coating confusion 
but a strong coating of attraction.

My heart exploding with joy,
my body floating weightlessly into the clouds.

Light sobbing in the bathroom stall
Aren't we all crying a bit on the inside?
Report cards are passed out, the same pleas and worried voices,
"Can you make my B+ an A?" 
"My parents are gonna be so mad ..."
