The title of the solo exhibition at the BCA Center in Burlington, "Bunny Harvey: Worlds Within Worlds," captures the magic of the artist's abstract landscapes – swirling, colorful, dreamy interpretations of the natural world. Harvey's work is often inspired by her walks in rural Vermont as well as in cities, such as New York and Rome.

The gallery show at the nonprofit BCA Center features 22 of Harvey's recent pieces, including two new works commissioned by the gallery and a video compilation of water photographs she took on her phone during her walks.
Harvey, who sold her art through a New York gallery and taught painting at Wellesley College for many years, spends part of her time at her home in Tunbridge, VT, where her work has been exhibited at the Tunbridge General Store, according to the Seven Days story, "Sounding It Out: Bunny Harvey's Audible Landscapes at BCA."
The exhibition at the BCA Center, at 135 Church Street, Burlington, runs through May 24.
