Under bill H.54 students would not be allowed to use cell phones and other personal electronic devices during the school day, and schools would be prohibited from communicating with students through social media platforms such as Instagram and Snapchat. The bill was introduced in the Vermont House Education Committee by State Rep. Angela Arsenault (D-Williston), who said it would "help increase student academic success, improve mental health and increase social cohesion." Share your opinion!
