Finished 13 Series of Unfortunate Events books by Lemony Snicket in just one week. Spot-on humor and exaggeration, mysterious author and lover, complex themes and plots, unique characters, and a storyline that ties everything together. Additionally: a book series about the author, a collection of letters to the author's lover, a movie, and a Netflix series.

YESSS i've only read the first one but it's super good (got scared cause I read it when I was like six years old) and gonna get back into the show! lemony snicket is a really good if maddeningly mysterious author; same with Zeno Alexander who wrote the Library of Ever series!
