Something silly happened to me today. A person in the NYT comments section accused me of writing my comment with AI! Adults need to remember that young people can write well too. Let's all keep using our voices.

Omg I've had kids at school ask if I've used AI too! It's so irritating that we are taught to write in a specific way and then get punished for it.
I had a substitute teacher give me a zero on an assignments in 7th grade because she said that there was absolutely no way that a 7th grader could've written it! I was devastated until the regular teacher came back and gave me full points.
