Does anyone here have a shellfish allergy? I have recently discovered one and it sucks to explain to all of the wait staff what it is. I'm like "I have a shellfish allergy" and their like "we don't serve shellfish" when they have shrimp on the menu, and then when I eat the food I get hives.

Aggh that sounds so awful! I don't have any food allergies but I am EXTREMELY allergic to penicillin. I had strep in January and took medicine; got hives a week later, and now I have to go to an allergist to test if I'm allergic to other medicine. ALLERGIES ARE THE WORST.
