I had a dream that they removed the s at the end of possessive nouns, and you would just use an apostrophe. The logic was that it was more inclusive to people whose names ended with s.

This reminded me of a viral college essay I read a few years ago called "I hate the letter 'S'" about the plural form of the word "parent." Not the same concept but this just reminded me of that!
