The Ant

The ant
  is
   trying.
But it is not
  trying
   hard enough.
It clambers and climbs
  Through dirt and 
   Soil.
A faded neon sneaker rests in the bright green grass.
  The ant
   Climbs 
    Over it.
A watering can is resting by the side of a little red house.
  The ant
      slips   
             through the crack in the metal.
Cool darkness greets it.
  But the ant is not afraid.
    The water is not a danger 
     To
     The
       Ant.
The
  Ant.
