on any other day,
i would say my favorite song
is "lemon boy" by cavetown.
it reminds me of
who i am, or rather,
i guess, who i hide behind.
today is different.
today i finished
the perks of being a wallflower.
today, enough of that
blue-gray feeling
has collected in my chest
to make me wonder
if maybe i have been
hiding a bit too much.
i think i will have to
pick a new favorite song
sometime soon.
for now, i think i will
listen to charlie's favorite,
"asleep" by the smiths.
