Atlantis

A city so great, 

so rich, 

so advanced.

Why has it fallen?

It was bigger than Egypt, 

greater than Rome, 

more powerful than the Mongols.

But it is not remembered like they are, not looked up to, not studied.

Why?

Because they made one fatal mistake.

They were so self-absorbed 

That they would not submit to anyone, not even the gods.

And so the gods struck them down

After they tried to destroy Minerva’s beloved city.

Don’t make the same mistake.
