Call Home Christmas

they dream of white christmases

white as the bleeding hearts drooping by the summer window

stolen from their vine as a child’s breeze tumbles by

and they dream of red and green, red and green lights that twinkle as the leaves change

and life is exhaled with every

step on pavement scattered red and brown

they dream of good cheer, life as a morning sunrise on fresh sparkled dew

they dream of sweet sugar, pink as peppermint and roses

and the feeling of falling, but to a place where you would always choose to stay

and they dream of laughter

laughter as beloved Rapunzel weaving ladders with silk thread, delicate as a moment

cherished as white christmas

  • Am I young?

Well yes, I am still young

You can call me a kid, but I will never again be

The toddler I was, smiling at joyous things

That I no longer enjoy now that I'm older,

And I like older kid things.

  • Told You

    Hell yeah I told you

    Why didn't you believe me?

I knew that it would end like this

But you said 'wait just trust me'

I want to say I told you

    But Im starting to believe

    That maybe you were right

  • Not Sorry

    I'm not sorry

    Not sorry at all

    I don't have regrets

    You know what they say

Beter to love and lose than not love at all

    but i kind of disagree

because to love is to gamble

    You’re destined to pay
