A giggle, a gurgle, a glimmer of light.
A whistle, a whisper, a wish in the night.
Runs faster than a falcon flies,
but smoother than the stones' skin.
Younger than the mountains embracing it,
But wise in the woods' ways.
Winding around every curve,
Bending around every bramble, bush, and branch,
It dances, carefree, through the world,
And never looks
Back.
