Maroon is the color of blood.

Maroon is the color of blood.

Maroon is the color of blood. 

Well, sometimes it is.

Blood, like the creature it gives life to, is ever changing, ever flowing.

But this is not a story about blood.

In fact, there is no blood to be seen.

But it feels like it.

It feels like I am

bleeding

bleeding 

bleeding.

I am bleeding out the 

pain,

and the 

confusion,

and the

hurt,

and the 

sorrow.

Two kings, both dead.

If maroon is the color of blood, I wonder

What is the color of poison?
