Copycat

when they say copying is the sincerest form of flattery,

they mean art.

when I say copying in the sincerest form of flattery,

i think about how your voice

has the same cadence as mine,

and how i have the same tics as my father,

how I use your words

in my sentences as if they have always belonged to  me

all my mannerisms are from my mother

and I act like my cousins

and we are twins when posing for pictures

but thats not the art they mean.
