I said I liked you,
They said I had a crush,
but that word has been used so many times,
it has turned dull and dusty with age.
My "crush" on you doesn't quite have a definiton,
but this is what it seems like to me:
damp meadows, filled with the scent of damp daisies
the click of your high-heeled boots on the pavement
as you dance
a spongy brownie cake, not too dry but not very sweet
sunlight glancing off your long, swiriling hair
my mind, melting in your green-golden gaze
Streetlight or spotlight?
Could be either.
Or both.
Or more.
