When you've forgotten the reason,
remember a snippet of who you were.
Oblivious.
Hello.
This is hard, but my armor won't get stronger if I don't talk to you.
You're scared of sleep paralysis, getting sick and loads of homework,
But soon you'll be scared of growing up, growing old and dying.
Live in your laughter.
Shine in your light.
Live in bliss and happiness before you fade to me.
(For context, my school hosted a poetry workshop where we were given a prompt and words to add into our writing. the prompt was, write a poem from your future self to your present self.)

This is beautiful and nostalgic. I love the last stanza and I have such an image of my older self talking to my younger self. Well said
