The Emerald Isle

From the rolling hills of emerald green

To herds of sheep grazing in the vast field
The charm of Eire never fails to be seen
Where forebears once frolicked is what thou shield

Music flows down thy stony lanes with grace
As lively folk danceth the jig till dawn
The legends and tales those gents doth embrace
Thy culture has mine own longing heart drawn

Emerald depths and seas of crystal blue
Lighten up the colorless skies of grey
Looking beyond, I know my love is true
But without thy beauty I feel astray

Though concrete sights of home have dimmed my view

My soul is still alive with dreams of you

  • "Golden"

Will you still remain when time drifts away?

    Golden hair withering into whiteness

I beg that your wholehearted love will stay

You keep me sane and my worries at bay
