Frogs In A Forest

Little creatures,
Green and sweet,
They raise their heads to the incoming rain,
Letting it soak in,
Closing their eyes and smiling to themselves,
Imagining a sunny day,
Sitting on a lily pad,
One leap through the air,
And a dive into the water,
Sending ripples cascading into the shore,
But today it's raining,
In a mossy forest,
Where they sit on soggy stumps,
Green blotches in a brown and gray world,
Frogs in a forest.
