        Going back 4 years,

You feel on top of the world,

You have friends,

Until you realized some of them were fake,

You clung to her like a lifeline,

Just for it to stop,

       Going back 3 years,

I would say to you,

Your friends may hate you right now,

But don't let it get to you,

When you move,

You will make closer friends,

Better than them,

They won't treat you like crap,

You'll have inside jokes,

And the time of your life,

       Going back 2 years,

They don't talk right now,

But it's okay,

They'll come back,

I know you feel alone,

But wait a year,

But you're beautiful,

       Going back 1 year,

You made new friends at your new school,

You reunited with your old ones,

You had a close circle now,

You left a mark on that old barn,

You had fun,

That's what mattered,

       This year,

They are leaving,

Your world's falling apart,

You know your boy's leaving,

You cried for over an hour,

But we're gonna be okay,

We have each other,

       A year in the future,
