Good Bye Good

Greed overtook them

Only those in power shoot their guns in fear

Of the potential held in the palm of our hands

Delicate and rough fingers intertwined through every color to shoot back.

Bye Good,

You never will know how many see you as the saint and symbol

Earth in the U.S.'s confinements has been begging for.

Inland, outland, alien, aren't we all humans

Compacted into a world of malice run into the sky?

Even lions have empathy beyond digging their claws into the cubs of tomorrow.

  • The Red Crayon

I haven't seen democracy since I was four years old,

coloring with crayons outside the lines while a man on screen was coloring the map with too much red that the blue was overpowered.

  • Anatomy's Future

I stopped standing the day that everyone else stopped standing for us

I have not put my hand over my heart in over a year because what is there to hide?

I was born here with the blonde hair and blue eyes

  • Reflection A5

Her life flashes before my eyes

    intertwined with his chained heart

Her smile is present even as she breathes

    blood

    rats surround the alley

    a few more steps

1... no no no they wouldn't do this to her
