What is a bagel? 

Is it the surprised light tan column

Sitting on my plate? 

Or is it the sky blue sneaker 

That my dog took. 

Maybe it’s just a bagel 

The bright light of the fire 

With cheerful flame,

Lighting up her face 

Among the faint blue 

Beacon of the lighthouse 

He swooped over the tunnel,

Catching air

He grabbed the tip of his board,

Illuminated by city lights

He expertly landed on the mountain,

Traveling between trees 

Bounced across snow
