I Hope

I hope that one day,

I can make an impact,

and change lives for the better.

I hope that every little kid

grows up with childlike hope,

and never loses it.

I hope that one day,

there will be as much love in the air

as there is pollution right now.

I hope that my pencil meets paper

and never wants to stop.

I hope that I never lose hope.

    Oh, how loved I feel

    My favorite people surround me

    Everyone chose to love me

The clinking chain of the swing

    The sweet smell of summer

Thundering sounds of someone throwing trash away in the distance

The scratching sounds of my pencil
