I love

I love you.

I know that’s just me

And you

And there are hundreds

Of millions

Of haters

Of hated.

But I love you.

But you’re my best friend.

I love you for phone calls

Across time zones

And recesses walking around soccer fields

And swearing when bad stuff happens

And playing piano in the forgotten hallway

Well, they forgot

We know.

I would scream

I

Love

You

Into nothing on a cliff yelling to stars

That don’t even know what love is

At people

Who I hope know what love is.

Still,

It’s just me

Loving you

Loving me.

Who knows how far that’ll get us?

  • We (are) the People

    Who are we?

    Are we men

in offices, yes that would still be

    us.

But, I think we are also the boy who got a flag from the lady in the parade and waves it because he loves his country

  • Faded peace

The red truck blue truck cap

    Bright blue, not pretty

    Like dancing eyes no

This is down to business blue eyes hardened

After too many people said no

After too many yesses didn’t work out
