that almost halfway point
in the school year
optimism that you've gotten this far
stressed that you've got three months to go

excitment
spring musical is opening soon
and nyc trip with music department
and warm weather
and lunch eaten outside
and closer to summer break
and yay! spring

but also:
ACTs and SATs
course registration for senior (!!!) year
and 
where did the time go
wasn't i just in seventh grade?
and 
college choices, pressure

and how the hell do you even do this adult thing??
and wow, it's almost the end of junior year
it's all so
overwhelming
