It was a sunny summer day when I woke up. One of those perfect days where the sun is shining but it's not too hot, the birds are chirping and gliding through the sky, and there is a light breeze. I got out of bed and did my morning routine. I was feeling nervous but excited. Later in the day I have a job interview and hoped it would go well.
After breakfast I sat down to do some reading, hoping to calm my nerves. Soon it was time to go and I grabbed my things and left. Right before I got out of the car my mom wished me good luck and I went inside. The inside of the hotel was basic with a back table full of items for guests. There was a balcony with surrounding glass windows and four cute chairs in the lobby. There was no one in sight so I walked to the front desk and waited for someone to appear. When they did I told them I was there for an interview and they nicely asked me to wait in the lobby. Soon a person came over to me and introduced herself. If I got the job she would be my boss.
During the interview, I was asked challenging questions. A few of the questions I had short, quick, answers to and others I had to think about. I tried to remember to remain calm and focus on answering the questions honestly. Many of the questions gave me things to think about and weren't things I had prepared to answer. This made me nervous and at the end of the interview, I wasn't so sure I would get the job. She then left the room and came back a few minutes later with paperwork for me to fill out because I had gotten the job!
