It's Been A Little While

Hi, all.

It's been a little while.

I'm 14. In 8th grade.

I haven't posted in probably over 6 months.

What's new?

I got Covid, again, at the beginning of the year. Oh well, I guess. 

I joined a sport. Something that I probably should have done a while ago.

I was in a musical, nothing major, just a few small roles. Not the way I had hoped, but in a way I liked it. Even though it didn't go too well until the dress rehearsal before opening night. It was an experience. Nothing I'm proud of, nothing I'm shameful of-except not screaming louder when the curtains closed.

My birthday went and passed. Old friends met my new friend. And it was like they'd known each other as long as I'd known them.

Several snow days later and it's February, 2025. Where politics consume every day life and I'm rushing out of the band room to turn in my high school form on time. It's all crazy. No one knows what's what anymore. Which is why I stayed up to watch SNL 50 last night.
