Just Do It

Just start writing,
I think,
Staring around and wondering if there's anything to do.
Words fall out of my mouth like crumbs
From a chocolate, crispy pie
But letters don't stick on the page like I want them to
I can dance and laugh easier than I can
Fall asleep and be calm
Don't worry, be happy,
They tell me 
They obviously don't understand that 
I can't.
Last night I wrote a poem about a dog,
To make people happy,
But today I'm just stuck thinking
What it would be like if things
Were different.
