Knowing Nothing

Having a best friend is like

you know all their deepest secrets

but will forget their favorite color.

We go for calculus before algebra

before we even know it since

every bff relationship is an even,

equation that is parallel

while also intersecting.

The solutions are infinite.

You are there exactly when needed

and they are for you but

you will stare blankly if they

ask you a simple question.

We are built for the long,

complex trains

like this is a Mario game

that lets us skip the first few levels.

And I wouldn't change it for the world.
