That’s you.
You are my light in the
Darkness that surrounds me, you, &
The whole world. Even if
The sun is shining &
It’s warm &
Everything is as close to perfection
As it can be, you
Bring more light into
My world.
 
I didn’t like you
At first, thought I think
You know that. A
Person’s first assumption of
Someone or something is
Generally wrong. If
You stood next to me, my
First thoughts of you were
As far away as the
Border of Latvia. (Do
You know where that is?
Yeah, I don’t either)
 
But now you are
So much more than a
Face in a crowd. Now
You are my world. &
I don’t apologize for how
Cliché that sounded, because
A lot of clichés are
True. I would do
Anything for you. If you
Told me to give you space,
I’d do so. If you
Told me to never talk to you again,
That’s hurt, but
I’d do so. As long
As you’re happy, because
Your happiness is where
My happiness is located.
Whenever you’re in pain,
I’m in pain as well.
Whenever you’re sad,
So am I.
Whenever you’re lonely,
I’m here for you.
Always.
 
Now, more than ever, I
Fear that I’m
Losing my grip on my
One light in the world. You
Drift further & further
Away, & I can’t help but
Wonder Are you okay?
Wait, no.
Don’t answer that.
None of us are okay anymore. I
Tell you that I am
Always here for you, & that
Isn’t a lie. I
Could never &
Will never lie to
You. It is
Outside my mental
Mind to lie to you.
 
I’ve said it once,
Twice,
Multiple times before &
I’ll say it again:
I love you. Not like
A summer fling
In library romance novels. Not like
A quick crush, then
Onto the next person.
No.
I love you, more than
I think anyone
Could imagine. &
Even if we fight tomorrow &
Never recover &
We never talk again, I
Will still love you. But
The problem is, I
Love you so much it
Hurts me when I
See you in pain or
Lost in a powerful emotion
Where all I can do
Is watch.
 
Even if you never
Say those three magic words
To me with
The emotion I have
When I say those words
To you, I want you
To know this:
I love you.
So much.
You are my world, my shining star, my guiding light.
I will never turn my back away from you.
I will always stand by your side.
Damn anyone else who wants you, the only know a sliver of the work of art you are.
So please…
…don’t turn me away.
It’s sending knives through my heart.
& I’m not sure how much linger I can withstand the pain.
