VT filmmaker Bess O'Brien and her Listen Up project kicked off YWP's 2019-20 Writing on the Roof series and the new Community Journalism Project at the Karma Bird House, 47 Maple St., Burlington, on Saturday, Sept. 14. Bess and Kingdom County Productions are creating an original musical based on the lives of Vermont teens that will tour the state in 2020. She is asking teens to tell their stories and help write the script for the musical. Thank you to all the writers who joined us on the rooftop!
