Lost in Pain

I stumbled around,
Blindly,
Not knowing where to go.
I walked around,
Past the forest,
Past the houses in this tiny town,
And past the small school.
I searched for someone,
Something,
Anything,
That would reduce my pain.

Then I saw it.

I saw the cliff,
The one where
Rocky waters churned
below,
Waiting.
But for who?
Me?

I took a step
forward,
Trembling.
The chilly winter
Wind
Kissed my cheek.
But onward
I went.
One step at a
Time.

I stood at the edge
Of the cliff now,
Looking down.
The dark,
Murky
Waters were waiting.
Patiently, but
definitely
waiting.

Then out of
No where,
I hear thunder,
then a crackle of
lightning.
Brilliant light shone
In front of
Me.

Then she was there
In front of me.
Stopping me.
She was
Lovely.

A pool of silk
Beside her,
Her face pale,
And her lips
Rosy red.

“It’s not worth it,”
She said calmly,
Smiling at me.
Her voice was
Soothing.
But I was stuck
On one
Question.

How did this
Creature,
This angel,
Know what it
Was?
How did she know
I was lost,
Lost in pain?

Then she
faded away,
Gradually dissolving
Into the frosty
Winter
Air.

Then she was gone.
I looked down
once more,
Pondering why she
Did this for me?

And that’s when it
Struck me.

I didn't know who
That creature was,
but I knew
That was
my guardian angel.

  • My Sealed Fate

Too late, too late -- there's no remedy nor cure

    to nurse my once burning, beating heart;

A stone now stands in it's solemn place,

    sickened, smothered, shredded apart.

I sought words to pierce your soul,

  • Vast Skies

The setting sun sinks slowly down to bed,
Closing its eye and falling into a short slumber.
Aureate rays swirl into crimson red,
Blending darker shades of warm umber,

From myriad vivid indigo, violet, carnation pinks.
