Mist

Misting

slowly, a dusting of pearly droplets

coats the world.

each one lands separately,

but over time, they all combine.

joining forces

melting together

to overtake the earth.

We humans-

sitting at home

bored at work

walking in the "rain"-

we don't even notice

their mighty effort

to band together

and make a difference

and so we sit,

oblivious to them

and oblivious to what

or who

might be oblivious to us.

  • I wish

I wish I could see the world like a puzzle

    with each piece

    having one

    rightful

    place.

But there is far too much

    idealist romantic

    in me

for that to be the case.

    I think

  • Pushing

We all push ourselves for something

    we push

              for achievement

              for recognition

              for forgiveness

  • After Thanksgiving

    The month

    (ish)

    of time between Thanksgiving

    and December 25th

    is

    undeniably

    the best season.

    Everyone is joyous

    despite their

    close-to-frostbitten noses

    here in Vermont.
