Mountains of Emotion

Being a teenager in today's world is so hard.

You have to deal with: stress of school, social interactions, people telling you what to do and what not to do.

You have to deal with all of that and look like you're doing fine on the outside.

You can't break down about this stuff in public,

otherwise you'll be frowned upon.

Called a weirdo, emotional, dramatic all things that are wrong.

It's weird that emotion is so often expressed and yet also repressed if it goes against the grain.

This idea baffles me.

I find it strange that you "can't cry" or "Be emotional." when all of this is normal.

You simply wouldn't be human if you didn't show emotion.

So why is it bad?
