My Love Poem

If I could paint the sky in the hues of colors I feel when I look at you,

The sky would no longer be just one color.

If I could write in words how much I love you,

All the ink and paper in the world would be all used up.

If I could photograph all our moments together,

I would hang them on a string of fairy lights to look at every night. 

If I could buy you all the things you’ve ever wanted,

You’d have gifts for a lifetime. 

If I could make the stars realign,

There would be a constellation for our love.

If I could wake up by your side every morning,

All you would see is my stupid smile.

If I could become just a little older,

I swear I would marry you.
