there’s a door
which
should you choose to enter
will take you 
to distant ports
and pirate ships
or golden temples
with marble gods
where chapters will enchant you
and pages
will lead you by the hand
down dark alleys
but care must be taken
as words can form chains
and books like to close
with your mind still inside
