How much longer
Can we hold on?
Cramping down our emotions
We refuse to free
Bottling them up
Refusing to acknowledge them
Watching those we love
Only through a screen
I see them so they must be real

I walk through the foggy morning. I had stopped running because of the fog. I walked slowly along the edge of the ocean. All I heard was the loud crashing waves. I stood for a second trying to figure out where I was.

I feel like this is everlasting.
We are all just fastening our seatbelts,
Taking a ride that might never end,
A ride that could last forever
Like a road trip
On a long road.

As the late afternoon sky cleared over Gilmanton, I descended down the hillside.
The only thing to betray my presence were the sunken footprints I left behind.

During these times of trial, it is important for people to be there for each other. Just the other day my neighborhood got together to celebrate a kid’s birthday on our block. Because of social distancing the boy was unable to have a birthday party.

The Pandemic has made me discover some things about myself.

One thing my mom has done for me is she told me it was going to be okay and wrapped her arms around me kind of like embracing me.

The sun did not shine. It was too wet to play. So, we sat in the house all that cold, cold wet day. I sat there with Sally. We sat there, we two. And I said, “How I wish we had something to do!”  Too wet to go out and too cold to play ball.

My dad is coming for a visit, I cry a lot through out the days because I feel like if I trap my feelings inside until he comes I will explode, and won't stop crying all day. So yes I am truly excited that he is coming... TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!

Neighbors. Someone whom we share our air with. People whose eyes glance over the same surroundings as thee. Someone for whom you see from afar. When we meet face to face, a friendly nod or wave, short gossip and kind-hearted check ins.
