If I heard a wolf howl, I would not be scared. I have a few reasons for this. My first reason is wolves do not try to hurt you, they do it for self-defense.

The morning you were born it was cold. I remember, we were outside bringing the cows in and I saw you. I couldn’t see you clearly. You just looked like a blob. Then I saw you. You had slid under the fence and in the road. It was so amazing.

Involuntary shudders,
Are good and bad. Happy but often sad. 
The feeling I associate with ghosts.
And the feeling I associate with the thril of life.
A good reason to like my nose,
Because you like my nose.

I imagine large expanses, hills rolling like wrinkles in a carpet. Trees cover the green tapestry, creating a scape of wolves and monsters. A rugged place, daring me to prove myself worthy.

I feel I must respond. For those of you who don't know me, for 13 years I used to haunt this space; I was the YWP Janitor.

Fall is a season for fun. There are those leave piles that are waiting to be jumped in. Those beautiful sunsets and pink and yellow sunrises. The nice cool breezes that feel so good.

When I first met you,
you hid behind your dad.
I stood in front of my mom,
and we stared at each other.
Flash forward a month or so,
and we're in my bedroom,

so i decided, for some reason, in a moment of creative unfufillment while on vacation this past summer that the best way for me to occupy my eleventh grade year was to write, cast, direct and edit my own horror movie.

I want to stop cancer. Many of my family members died from cancer. It's a horrible thing. I will find a way to do it. I'm not going to cure cancer, I'm going to end it.

I would like to be a General in the Army. The first step is to work hard, train, and, most importantly, eat good and nutritious foods. Also, I will learn in school and take a risk to save my country.

I think you forget that we are listening.
I think you forget that we wake up and see the same news as you do.
We hear about the shootings,
The violence and the poverty,
The horrible, awful things in the world, too.
